Had the pleasure of being sent to photograph Northcott Theatre’s Wardrobe Manager Beth De Tisi in her under the stage den full of costumes (obviously) and tonnes of bits and bobs, reams of fabric, hats, wigs, absolutely packed to the rafters with anything that could be used for the stage.

A real treat to photograph, but the light was a little tricky, with no real daylight and loads of energy-saving lightbulbs on a strange array of different circuits proving difficult to turn some of and keep others on.

In the end rather than battle with the light I decided to use it and soften the colour cast with lights of my own and in other pictures just using the available light which ended up being quite atmospheric.
