Recently I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Bob and Sam, a lovely couple, very relaxed and easy to photograph.

The Wedding took place at st Michael’s Church Lyme Regis In Dorset, the brides home town, then on to a service at Waycroft hall about a 10 minute drive away .
My day started with the brides preparation at about 10:00am then dashing across to get some pictures of the boys enjoying a pint on the Beach then back to the bride for her final preparation, then on the the service at the church.

All week the weather was bad and the forecast for Saturday got a little better each day and amazingly the wedding day was a warm sunny day all day! the only thing was the wind was a little brisk not such a good thing for the brides hair but I always prefer a bit of a breeze for the pictures because it adds a bit of life and movement to the shots.
We also had time after the service to take a walk to the beach, the original plan was to drive down to the historic Cobb and take pictures on the high wall but the wind was just too strong for that so we took a more sheltered stroll along the pebble beaches at the bottom of the town.
The reception venue Waycroft Hall looked beautiful with all white flowers and decorations with large candelabras standing proud from the tables, this suited the Medieval hall well.
All said a beautiful day.
Please take a look at some of my favorite photographs from the day.
